The Rivercrest Band

Mission Statement

The Rivercrest Band program is dedicated to the teaching of music through well rounded instruction. Although music is the main emphasis of the program we use this as a path to teaching discipline, organization, cooperation, and many other life skills. We strive to provide as many opportunities as possible for every student enrolled in the Rivercrest Band Program. These opportunities are focused on offering experiences that will help students find joy and excitement in the creative and aesthetic environment of music and other arts. It is our hope that each student will find music to be a personal experience, and that he/she will desire to have music as a part of their lives forever.

Location

The Rivercrest Band Program is located in Mississippi County, Arkansas, roughly 45 miles from Memphis on I-55 North. It is under the direction of Hunter Durham and Sebastien Isom.
