We could not do what we do without the support of the community, and humbly ask local businesses, organizations, and individuals that would like to consider contributions toward our activities and efforts. The Rivercrest Band Boosters is a 501(c)3 charitable organization, and we will gladly provide upon request invoices/receipts and our W-9 for tax purposes.

About the Boosters

The Rivercrest Band Boosters is an all-volunteer organization whose efforts support the advancement of music education, performance, and enrichment opportunities for students and recent alumni of the Rivercrest Bands of Rivercrest School District.

Our network consists of parents, grandparents, friends, and family of Rivercrest band members. Many of us are Rivercrest alumni and former band members ourselves. We all deeply appreciate the value of music education and group performance that goes well beyond a concert or halftime show, such as building reading and math skills, confidence, teamwork, leadership, collaboration, accountability, perseverance, and a sense of belonging.

While we are incredibly grateful that Rivercrest School District is very generous and supportive of our music program, there are needs that go beyond the scope of what the school can cover. That’s where the Rivercrest Band Boosters organization steps in. The Band Boosters operate the football concession stands and continuously make improvements to the equipment and technology, provide shirts to the band members and runners, feed the group before games and competitions, coordinate donations and purchase water for practices, supplement props and items needed for the year's performance, assist with students that may not be able to afford various aspects of band participation, support private lessons for students eligible for All-State auditions, host a reception with keepsake gifts to graduating seniors, and other things that arise to support and further the development of the Rivercrest Band program. We hope to expand into scholarships for graduates, sponsoring students' attendance at summer camps, providing exposure to musical performances and educational opportunities, and destination competitions or performances for the entire group.
